Prismacolor Marker. Faber-Castell Marker. Elmers Whiteout Marker.

La Jolla California. Not much to say about this one other than I REALLY miss the coastline. Really.

Lyrics: Mike Ness
-----------------

Take a drive baby up the coast, yea highway 101
I’ll pass Ventura and Santa Barbara too, just as fast as my motor runs
Gotta pocket full of memories, some happy and some are sad
Gotta girl standin’ by my side through the good times and the bad

Listen to the boulevard, listen to the falling rain
I believe in love now, with all of its joys and pains

Sick boy, sick girl, looking nice dressed up on a Saturday night
Take a walk downtown for a while and chase the pale moonlight
I can still hear the mission bells and the train rollin’ through your town
Gonna leave this world behind, we’re Southern California bound

Listen to the boulevard, listen to the falling rain
I believe in love now, with all of its joys and pains
Follow the palm trees under the California sun
I believe in love now, I believe in love again

Listen to the boulevard, listen to the falling rain
I believe in love now, with all of its joys and pains
Follow the palm trees under the California sun
I believe in love now, I believe in love again

I could just melt into this landscape and be the happiest person ever. So beautiful and serene, the water splashing against the rocks. Amazing! :)

dying to get back there. Don't get me wrong, Chicago is wonderful in its own way, but really... nothing can top pacific shores.

I haven't been to the Pacific coast, but I have been to the Gulf many times before. Absolutely gorgeous beaches. Haven't been to Chicago since I was a kid, but a very good friend of mine lives there with his girlfriend. Wish I had money to just blow and take a road trip down to the coast. :)

I was too young to remember the gulf when my parents took me. I would like to head back if only to see and maybe swim with some hammerheads

That would rock. :) I would love to take my daughters to the beach someday soon, they've never seen the ocean.

I do not know of a child who was not in wonder at their first trip to the beach.
Heck, I still am and I'm dang near 30.

I just turned 31 a couple weeks ago, so I know what you mean. lol That feeling of stepping on the warm sand and waves washing up against my skin is one I will not forget. I want them to experience that. :)
